Chapter 4 - Melting Heat Transfer Effect on Nanofluid Behavior

Abstract

Melting process has various uses such as application in thermocouple, heat exchangers, and heat engines. Nanofluid can be used to improve thermal behavior of working fluid. In this chapter, both single-phase and two-phase models have been employed. Different shapes of nanoparticles are considered in the single-phase model. Similarity transformation method is applied to obtain final governing equations.
