Abstract
Dehydroacetic acid (DHA) acts as a ligand and forms many biologically important ligand–metal complexes. In this chapter we will discuss importance of different metals such as Fe, Cu, Pt, Ru, Zn, and the formation of different DHA–metal complexes, their mechanisms, and their biological applications.
