Abstract

The problem of pesticide and veterinary drug residues poses a great threat to human health. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a set of methods for the detection of pesticide and veterinary drug residues. The traditional detection methods have some defects more or less. Aptamer, as a kind of recognition element, can be combined with other signal output elements to develop a simple, rapid, specific, and low-cost detection method. Therefore, in this chapter, we introduce the applications of fluorescent aptasensors, colorimetric aptasensors, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy aptasensors, chemiluminescence aptasensors, electrochemiluminescence aptasensors, electrochemical aptasensors, and other aptasensors in the field of pesticide and veterinary drug residue detection.
