Abstract
This chapter introduces meroterpenoids derived from microbial sources. The chapter divides microbial sources into two parts: bacteria and fungi. It shows the structural diversity of meroterpenoids and classifies the structural types by combining genera. It then introduces the main biosynthesis pathway of compounds. Finally, the biological functions of meroterpenoids are presented.
