Abstract

Natural gas injection has a strong effect on the raceway flame temperature. To understand this effect, the matrices developed for CH4(g) injection are modified to reflect the composition of natural gas. The impact of natural gas and CH4(g) injection on the raceway flame temperature is calculated. Reasons for slightly different impacts of each fuel injection gas on the flame temperature are discussed.
