Abstract

This chapter tells about organizational change. Like solar panels adjusting to the movement of the sun or sails to the wind, organizations constantly change to align themselves with economic and market forces. Change is now a given. The remaining questions have to do with whether, how, and how easily organizations will adapt. This chapter also tells how human resource professionals can help their organizations continuously align and realign themselves. In particular, the chapter focuses on how one organization used surveys and survey feedback to support the change process.
