Abstract

This chapter discusses the properties of natural gas mixtures and their applications in reservoir-engineering calculations and covers the fundamental natural gas properties used to describe and govern the laws of gas volumetric behavior under pressure and temperature. In addition, the chapter gives a review of gas properties including gas deviation factor, gas viscosity, compressibility, and formation volume factor.
