Abstract
Publisher Summary This chapter presents illustrations of various microwave resonators. The chapter begins with the discussion of one-port reflection resonator and two-port transmission resonator. The chapter also describes two-wire line resonators, basic coaxial resonators, rectangular waveguide cavities, spherical cavities, dielectric resonators, loop–gap resonators, microstrip resonators, Fabry–Perot resonators, YIG resonators, and traveling-wave resonators. The heading, loop–gap resonators further discusses one loop–n gap resonator and two loop–one gap resonator. Three types of microstrip resonators have been discussed in the chapter—microstrip rectangular resonators, microstrip circular resonators, and microstrip ring resonators.
