Abstract

Chapter 3 focuses on different methods for assessing social validity. Some methods that are described include direct observations, peer comparisons, interviews, and more formal measurement instruments. This chapter covers both longstanding instruments and more recently developed instruments that are introducing newly validated methods for measuring social validity.
