Abstract

As we move further ahead into the age of big data and artificial intelligence, medical screening will expand and improve. Medicine can and should take advantages of these tools to help improve health out comes for patients. Since many adult health problems start with habits begun in childhood, adolescence is an optimal time to maximize health related inputs, then to move forward with broader medical knowledge, improved adolescent screening, and more insightful early intervention options. In our efforts to enhance preventive medicine and impact healthful habits of both young and old patients, enhanced adolescent screening is a vital first step in achieving these goals.
