Abstract

Copper nanoparticles (Cu-NPs) are small particles (1–100nm) with ultraviolet visible sensitivity, electrical, catalytic, thermal, and antibacterial properties depending on their high volume/surface ratio. These nanoparticles (NPs) are synthesized by physical, chemical, and biological methods, which however lead to the formation of highly toxic by-products. In this regard, most of the Cu-NPs studied in the biomedical field are obtained using green techniques.
