Abstract

This chapter defines the core principles of cooperative growth and serving as a fiduciary to patients in the setting of a growing teleneurology service. Case examples are used to illustrate pitfalls in growing a systems of care for telemedicine. Common themes of engaging stakeholders, preventing burnout, and recognizing variation in needs are considered in light of the core principles, and techniques for change management, managing burnout, and conducting a needs assessment are recommended.
