In this chapter the therapist will find forms, guidelines, and informational documents to help decide if the challenge to expand the practice is to be undertaken. Opportunities to expand any clinical practice are large and technology and the Internet open the door to many new ways to deliver services and reach a population in need of services. Therapists may take advantage of opportunities to expand their practice. “Telemedicine” is the practice of health care delivery, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, transfer of medical data, and education using interactive audio, video, or data communications.
