Abstract
It has been more than 2years; the inhabitants of this macrocosm continue to suffer under the onslaught of COVID-19 pandemic ceaselessly and all possible endeavors are on to vanquish this monstrous disease. The pandemic has wreaked havoc ever since the first case of COVID-19 was reported on January 27, 2020, in Kerala. It was on March 25, 2020 when the government imposed complete lockdown in the country as a mitigation strategy. The word COVID has slithered into the lives of 1.38 billion people, and its indelible scars have been embedded. Prior to this pandemic, India was a happy-go-lucky nation, and its healthcare system was never out to any test. The unwanted advent of COVID-19 pandemic and its widespread devastation in the form of loss of precious human life awakened the country. The reason: nation's healthcare system was exposed and at the crossroads. (Helpless. Clueless. Numbed. Shocked.) There cannot be any parallel algorithms to this human misery.
