Abstract

This chapter covers main provisions on diagnosis and treatment approaches in patients with drug-induced pulmonary diseases (DIPD). The most frequent DIPD variants are amiodarone lung and methotrexate-induced interstitial lung disease, and lung lesions caused by anticancer drugs are also considered. Additionally, clinical and radiological patterns of DIPD and aspects of bronchoalveolar lavage and criteria for differential diagnosis are considered.
