Abstract

This chapter comprehensively analyzes failure mechanism of the high-speed railway signaling system, especially in some aspects like the structure design defects of signaling system, the risks that an external system may introduce, and equipment fault of the signaling system and other aspects. A new concept is proposed for high-speed railway signaling system design that uses parallel monitoring technology, sigmacompleteness monitoring of train control data, and sharing and fusion methods of train control data, to prevent the failure risk of the signaling system so as to ensure train operation safety.
