Abstract

Objective To explore the change of acetylcholine-sensitive K+ channel(Kach)current in artial myocytes of myocardial hypertrophy rat model,to provide partial theoretical basis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy(HCM)complicated with atrial fibrillation(AF). Methods Based on the rat′s hypertrophic model made by clipping both kidneys,we acutely isolated the atrial muscle cell, and used the whole-cell patch clamp technique to test the current of Kach from the atrial myocytes. Results The Kach of experimental group fell by(54.4±5)% compared to the control group, the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion The IKach signifiantly decreased in the rat hypertrophic model, which was similar with past AF model investigative result, supposing the connection of Kach and cardiomyopathy complicated AF. Key words: Myocardial hypertrophy; Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy; Atrial fibrillation; Acetylcholine-sensitive K+ channel
