Abstract

The article reveals the importance and role of teaching children about money; interrelation of spiritual and moral education, development of economic culture and formation of mathematical conceptions by studying this topic. The concepts of money that children of senior pre-school age already have as a part of economic education are one of the most important aspect of economic socialization of the child, a purposeful process of interaction of adult and child, which provides for formation of child’s interest to economic area of life, mastering elementary economic concepts, acquiring elementary skills required for orientation and existing in the modern market world.
