Abstract
The article presents an investigation of Cecilia Salles documents of processes produced during the development of her thesis on Ignácio de Loyola Brandão's creative process in mid-1986. Through these materials, we discuss some of the aspects and methods employed by the thinker while still in training when dealing with the challenge of developing a procedural reading of the writer's archives and establishing theoretical bridges with C. S. Peirce's Semiotics and Genetic Criticism. The reflections include verifying specific elements and contents in the documents, such as hand-copied and xeroxed sheets, with visibility of their dynamics and the diversity of workplaces. The article also contemplates the opportunity for contemporary reflective dialogue with Cecilia in revisiting her documents, revealing new choices and potential characteristics. Through this study, we seek to valorise the theorist's archive, shedding light on the paths of those who wish to pursue procedural studies.
