Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate causal relationship among resilience, burnout and post-traumatic growth of university taekwondo athletes. For this purpose, a sample of 370 drawn out of the university Taekwondo athletes from Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungnam area was selected as a population. Data acquired from 17 university Taekwondo athletes were excluded due to inconsistency in their responses. Therefore, the data of 353 people was used for a final analysis. For the collected data, descriptive statistics, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation analysis were performed using jamovi 1.1 and AMOS 23.0 programs. The following results. First, the resilience of university taekwondo athletes has a negative(-) effect on burnout. second, the resilience of university taekwondo athletes has a positive(+) effect on post-traumatic growth. Third, the resilience of university taekwondo athletes has a negative(-) effect on post-traumatic growth.
