Abstract

Thyroid nodule is a discrete lesion within the thyroid gland parenchyma, which typically presents as a nontender palpable thyroid mass. Thyroid nodule is more common in females. The clinical importance of thyroid nodules is to exclude thyroid cancer. Radiation exposure, familial syndromes, gender, and age are risk factors of thyroid malignancy. This case reports on a thyroid nodule in a 35-years old female who complains of feeling a growing nodule in her neck for several weeks.
