Abstract
The article examines career design as a life scenario for modern youth. The research material was the results of surveys conducted by centers and companies on career design issues. The tendencies of career design among modern young people are determined. These include constant development, self-actualisation, individuality, initiative, activity, innovation and technology, design thinking both in career and in personal life, focus on freshness of ideas, own perspective, leadership, overcoming failures, spontaneity and pragmatism, high frequency of transition from one career field to another due to the instability of professional interests. It was revealed that career design is dynamic and has different types of careers; young people are more likely to be guided by the experience of their peers, leaders created their own projects, technology development or world communities, rather than the experience of their parents. It was revealed that remote work, combining remote and offline work, and freelancing are two developing trends in the labor market.
