Abstract

Former President of the Japan Association of Global Governance, Professor Hirotaka Watanabe is the project leader of 'Transforming Great Power Relations / Intersection and Global Civil Society', which is financially and physically supported by Japan Society for Promotion of Sciences (JSPS) and Teikyo University. He talks about the Association's invaluable work to promote this interdisciplinary research project, and shares his thoughts on Japanese diplomacy and the importance of international relations.
