Abstract
A new broad band slot line radiator has been designed and developed in strip line configuration. The antenna covers 3: 1 frequency bandwidth working over the frequency 6 to 18 GHz. A special technique has been incorporated for broad banding the antenna and the experimental results are presented showing return loss, radiation patterns and gain. This type of antenna can be straight integrated with other MIC components and hence finds application where large band width, light weight and compact size are extremely essential requirements.
