Abstract
Deferred corrections for nonlinear boundary value problems for first order systems of ordinary differential equations can be performed using general non-uniform meshes. This survey paper indicates how to select automatically those meshes, and also gives the general strategy employed in a computer implementation of the algorithm. Numerical results and comparisons among four different methods are given together with an extensive bibliography.
