Abstract
Green banking is a concept used to refer to the way of providing and characterizing banking services aimed at supporting activities that have a positive impact on the environment, such as reducing carbon emissions, saving natural resources, and promoting sustainable development. Developing green banking is a topic that attracts special attention in Vietnam, as the world is promoting investment activities for sustainable development and environmental protection. This paper presented the current development of green banking in Vietnam and pointed out difficulties and challenges. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions were proposed to facilitate the development of green banking in Vietnam
