Abstract
We report calculations of partial structure factors, concentration and particle density fluctuations for a binary mixture of equal-sized hard spheres at equimolar composition, where spheres of different species interact via an attractive square well. This model exhibits the qualitative features attributed to liquid binary alloys with compound-forming tendencies.
