Abstract
At present, there are different levels of traffic congestion in major cities in China. The existence of such problems has an adverse effect on people's travel experience while increasing the traffic risk. Based on this, this paper has mainly analyzed the value and characteristics of big data technology, and analyzed the urban intelligent transportation system from GPS technology, GIS technology and structure. Finally, this paper expounded the application of big data technology in urban intelligent transportation system from the practical application requirements, big data technology application function and the application form in order to promote the solution of the current urban traffic congestion problem.
