Abstract

This article discusses functioning of the Library of the Poznan University of Technology in the extraordinary period, unprecedented in the hundred years' history of this institution, i.e. the period of the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions associated with it. It presents ways of reorganizing current tasks, new solutions applied in usually provided services, and brand new ideas in the new situation. The article emphasizes the great mobility and creativity of the library employees and their willingness to assist the users who were suddenly deprived of access to the library resources, services and above all the space which until then they had been using intensively.
