Abstract
This chapter discusses benzotriazole, which plays a crucial role in the study of organic chemistry. The author takes up a US patent related to one specific component of organic chemistry and provides other details of the patent for further clarification. This chapter discusses one patent and that is the method of synthesizing t-amido-substituted 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl) benzotriazole compounds in a one-step process.
