The author describes the preparation of the specimen; factors influencing its radiographic coverage; angles of view; number of aspects and exposures required; the selection of exposure conditions; double film techniques; the control of radiograph quality; and factors influencing the preparation of radiological techniques. He concludes with a brief summary of the place of high energy x-ray sources and multi-curie sources.
