Abstract
The main indications and efficiency of SGLT-2 inhibitors, empagliflosin were presented, its lifesaving importance for the patients with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases was described in evident practical form. The possible adverse events of the therapy, particularly urogenital infections frequency was analyzed, and main practical recommendations on their prevention and treatment were done. Practical aspect of the paper allows its use for doctor- patient communication.
