Abstract

The aim of this study was to explore the current situation of the educational competence for 120 kindergarten teachers from the teacher's qualifications and seniority by using computational software. The kindergarten teacher competency questionnaire was used to investigate the kindergarten teachers, and SPSS19.0 software was carried out to analyze the data. The results of this paper show that education competency level for kindergarten teacher is in the middle level; The level of competence for different seniority kindergarten teachers are overall upward trend; Different levels of academic competence for kindergarten teachers substantially present “inverted V” development trend. That is to say that educational competency for preschool teachers of college education is higher than that of the secondary and undergraduate education. It can provide a guide for the educational competency research for preschool teachers.
