Abstract
The state of the health care system, as well as the state of health of the population of Ukraine is unsatisfactory and causes concern in society, which indicates the need for changes in the provision of medical services that can provide citizens with quality health care. The stages of formation of a balanced system of indicators, as well as components of the strategy of the health care institution are identified. The process of developing a balanced scorecard for health facilities is presented, which includes a list of strategic issues that contribute to goal setting and selection.
