Abstract
dTDP-activated sugar nucleotides are the most diverse sugar nucleotides in nature. They serve as the glycosylation donors of glycosyltransferases to produce various carbohydrate structures. In their Research Article (e202217894), Liuqing Wen and co-workers developed a general strategy for the efficient preparation of dTDP-activated sugar nucleotides from readily available starting materials. This high-yielding synthetic strategy avoids the need for complicated purification procedures.
