Abstract
Objective: Very recently we described an efficient and robust algorithm for the offline-detection of epileptic seizures for long-term scalp EEG recordings (Hopfengärtner et al., 2007). The aim of this study was to evaluate the performance of the algorithm on a larger number of patients with different types of seizures and without requiring any a priori information of the seizures.
