Abstract Austral Wright 5251 is a wrought, non-heat-treatable, aluminum-magnesium-manganese alloy (5xxx series). It is about mid-way in the series of aluminum-magnesium alloys for alloying content and strength, which is very similar to that of alloy 5052. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties.
