Abstract
Abstract The space group C2 2vand the displacements of atoms of the antiferroelectric PbYb0.5Nb0.5O3 are determined at the room temperature by X-ray study. Two phase transitions are found to exist: the proper ferroelectric phase transition at about T=290°C and the transition to the long-period phase C2 2v at about T=250°C on cooling.
