Abstract
From February to May 1994, Paul Weinberg served as the official photographer for the South African Independent Electoral Commission (IEC). His images document the tense period in the build-up to the first democratic elections, the momentous events of 27th April 1994, and the inauguration of Nelson Mandela as the President of South Africa.
