Abstract

The article defines the main conceptual principles, directions, mechanisms and stages of formation and implementation of reasonable criteria for the quality of passenger road transport services provided on public bus routes using the experience of the European Union. In order to successfully implement the system of service quality criteria in cities and regions, recommendations were provided to executive authorities and local governments on certain preparatory work aimed at creating legislative, economic, financial, personnel and organizational-technical support measures to be implemented.
