Abstract
In this article, student nurse-midwife Breanna Bucca answers questions from The Student Midwife editorial board about the different pathways to midwifery registration and public and private maternity care in Australia. Breanna also provides insight into the health inequalities experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and infants, as well as the measures being taken to address these disparities.
