The article shows that the country's universities produce students who poorly meet the requirements of business. Students with higher and secondary specialized education are becoming more and more numerous, while businesses are experiencing a shortage of qualified personnel. Business uses various forms of solving the problem of labor shortage: they create departments and laboratories in universities, joint training programs, its representatives teach special disciplines, take students on industrial practice and employ not only graduates, but also senior students.
