In fact, it's now a noun, a verb, an adjective, and sometimes an interjection! The 2022 Zoom experience is quite dependent on the participating group and the group leader(s). We've all been on Zoom meetings that have been crisp, fruitful, and enjoyable. Alas, we've also all experienced the opposite: meetings with no engagement, cross-talking, and quite frankly, a waste of time. Similarly, most of us have participated in face-to-face meetings that also run the gamut from good to bad to ugly. The role of parliamentary procedure is to maximize the number of good experiences and avoid the bad and ugly. Thus, we get to the role of the Speaker and Vice Speaker.
