I want to thank our ASA members and leaders who have worked so hard over the past year by demonstrating their incredible dedication and commitment to the care of patients while promoting science. The Division of Scientific Affairs is composed of five Sections: Clinical Care (Joy L. Hawkins, MD, FASA, Chair), Publications (Daniel J. Cole, MD, FASA, Chair), Annual Meeting (Santhanam Suresh, MD, FASA, Chair), Education and Research (David Martin, MD, PhD, FASA, Chair), and Subspecialties (Erin A. Sullivan, MD, FASA, Chair). Rounding out the Division, and also a component of the Committee on Professional Education Oversight, is representation from the Committee on Scientific Affairs headed by David Martin, MD, PhD, FASA, who is already on the committee.
