Abstract
Artificial intelligence has undergone over half a century of development. Since 2015, on the basis of continuous improvement of artificial intelligence research and application scenarios at home and abroad, China’s artificial intelligence–related research has entered a stage of rapid development. In 2017, the first instance of artificial intelligence entering government reports implies that it has risen to the national strategic level. Artificial intelligence development plans and supporting policies will continue to be introduced and the artificial intelligence sector will lead the investment field. Undoubtedly, all of this will stimulate the development of artificial intelligence in many fields and activate entrepreneurial enthusiasm in artificial intelligence and related fields. The artificial intelligence field ushered in the entrepreneurial boom after 2011, reaching the peak of entrepreneurship in 2014 and 2015, and the current average age of enterprises is 3.2 years.
