Abstract
An overview is given of the most important activities of the Artenschutzmanagement gGmbH,which was founded at the end of 2019, over the first three years (until 2022). During this period,an open access online journal was established, the first parcels of land were purchased or transferred to the company and development and maintenance measures for highly endangered species were carried out on these sites. The sites are located in Baden-Württemberg in the Neckar, Kocher and Jagst valleys. Population surveys and monitoring have begun on our own land. In addition to donations, funding was also raised or applied for and used for projects. A website on species protection in settlement areas has been adopted and is being continued and updated. In future, reports will be published in this journal every two years.
