Abstract
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), or replacement (TAVR), has become a cornerstone in the treatment of aortic stenosis, and aortic regurgitation. TAVI, a minimally invasive procedure for replacing a stenosed aortic valve, has established itself as a cornerstone therapy for high-surgical-risk patients with aortic stenosis (AS). However, the landscape is rapidly evolving, with growing interest in its application for intermediate and low-risk patients.
