Abstract
The expansion of energy consumption cannot proceed without limits, due to the finite nature of conventional energy sources. The warning bell has been sounded, and most Arab governments have begun their relentless efforts to address the increasing energy consumption and find possible solutions and alternatives. The most appropriate and optimal solution, which has been acknowledged by all countries around the world, is to establish a sustainable energy system within the framework of implementing a long-term strategy that allows for the development and growth of various renewable energy sources at the local and national levels. In this context, this research aims to address the following issue: What are the efforts of Arab countries towards investing in renewable energy? This study relies on a descriptive-analytical approach, and the findings emphasize that Arab countries are making significant efforts to enhance cooperation for expanding the use of renewable energy systems.
