Abstract

Solidarity is the backbone value of the Social Economy in Medellin and also in Colombia; however, the concept of solidarity is often not clear to the ones who use it. This paper is an attempt to approach the concept of solidarity and its relationship with an alternative economy. It brings together the experience of educational processes of the sector, a dialog with authors and personal contributions on the topic. This reflection is open for debate and continuous collective construction. Keywords: solidarity, social and solidarity economy, collective construction, politics, intimacy, difference.
