Abstract
Academic business librarians have long offered research support for student consultants, and their experiences and activities have been discussed in multiple articles over the past two decades. This paper seeks to present a unique multi-institutional perspective on the operational aspects of working with student consultants, identifying common and uncommon activities and approaches. The findings presented here, based on interviews with 32 librarians, offer new insights into the variety of ways in which support services for student consultants are being provided, with approaches for newer librarians as well as those who are experienced in supporting student consultants to consider.
